Royal Suppliers from 1806 Bavaria became a kingdom with Munich as its capital. The royal court, of course, had to be taken care of.
What could be more obvious than choosing certain suppliers who were allowed to bear the title of ‘royal Bavarian purveyors to the court’?
Of course, the title wasn’t in vain. In addition to an intensive review, including the supplier’s economic situation, payment had to be made to be allowed to use the title.
