Travelling to Munich will be the best part of your vacation.
With the perfect private full day tour, it will be unbeatable. This full-day package delivers the perfect mix of history and fun.
As a specialist in luxury travel, I have delivered high-quality services to my clients for over 30 years, and this tour is proof of that.
With a comfortable start
My driver and guide will meet you at your Munich hotel to begin the tour. First, you’ll get ready for sightseeing with your camera. My guide will then take you to the city’s best spots, where you’ll be able to connect with Munich’s historical background.
Castle Nymphenburg
We reach the Nymphenburg castle, built in the seventeenth century by Duke Ferdinand Maria. It was a gift for his beloved wife Adelaide Heloise von Savoyen. You can enjoy the surroundings, the park, and the luxurious buildings—like the Magdalena oratory, the hunting hut, and the baroque garden—that our royals built over many generations. The Italian style and fine, sophisticated architecture will amaze you.
First, if you choose this option, my guide may lead you into the castle. However, you must book early, as the castle may sell out. In the summer, I recommend enjoying the park before considering a visit to the castle.
Back in the city
My driver will bring you back to the old town. My guide, or another member of my team, may then take over your tour inside the residence of Munich. Here, my driver will say goodbye to you, and you will stay with my guide for the rest of the day.
You will have 30 minutes here for lunch, and later you will meet my guide again for your tour of the residence.
The royal residence of Munich
A miracle of restoration, because after the war, the Residence was over ninety per cent destroyed, and there was even talk of rebuilding it elsewhere, but the determination of the people of Munich moved them to do everything possible so that we can experience this marvel today.
Inside the residence, you’ll meet Adelaide and her husband again and other hints to the royal family, like the green room with a gallery of master paintings and the mirror room that inspired King Ludwig II in the construction of his castle, Linderhof.
The best for the last
To complete your day, my guide leads you on a pleasant walk to Marienplatz, where you learn more about how Bavaria became part of Germany.
Your special wishes will be my pleasure to fulfil. After booking, contact me and help me make your day memorable.
